At only 20 pounds, the Bumbleride Indie is the lightest in its class. Its light weight, coupled with its compact fold, make Indie ready to go wherever you go! Introduced in August 2007, the Bumbleride Indie baby stroller is one of the more stylish all-terrain strollers. It comes in vibrant, unique colors not available in other brands. This stroller is an excellent choice for parents who want a comfortable, smooth ride on a variety of surfaces (grass, gravel, dirt, uneven sidewalks). The option to lock the front wheel in the straight position also suits the Bumbleride Indie for light exercising.

Because it has a true seat-back (not a "sling" approach as with most all-terrains), the Bumbleride Indie uses a quick-and-easy relining mechanism. With a simple pull of a lever, the seatback lowers or rises and locks solidly into place. Most other all-terrain strollers and jogging strollers have straps that raise/lower the seatback, which takes more effort and can result in the reclined seatback swaying from side-to-side over uneven terrain.  For longer walks, shopping, or a day at the park, the Bumbleride Indie has a cupholder, large under-seat basket, and additional closing pocket on the back of the canopy for cellphone, keys, and wallet.

Like all true all-terrain strollers, the Bumbleride Indie has real rubber tires with air-filled tubes (just like a bicycle), which makes pushing easier and the ride smoother.
